Virtual IBF Luxembourg Event

We are delighted to invite you to the upcoming IBF Luxembourg Event:
The DAC 6 is up and running. A “Status Quaestionis”
This event will take place on Thursday 11 February 2021 and is provided as virtual Event from 18:00 to 19:00
The agenda is covering the following:
- Short opening Introduction by IBF Luxembourg (5 min.)
- Presentation of the DAC 6 topic by Alain Verbeken
- Covering (50 min):
- Objectives, scope, and actors concerned
- Banks as primary or secondary intermediaries
- Main notions and hallmarks
- Reporting and notification obligations
- Penalties and controls
- Application examples – banking industry
- Q&A (10 -20 min.)
About the Speaker: Alain Verbeken, Director, Tax – Financial Services at Mazars Luxembourg. Alain is a tax advisor with extensive experience in corporate international tax and operational tax matters. He has a broad international tax background of more than 20 years, in respect of a.o. tax advice for the financial sector, tax advice regarding reorganization of banks, real estate fund structuring, investment structuring, Islamic finance and tax structuring of insurance products. In the context of automatic exchange, he is dealing with DAC 6, QI/FATCA and CRS advice and implementation in Luxembourg and abroad. He is a member of the ALFI CRS, Tax-GDPR and DAC 6 Working Groups.
